Swaps

I had been looking for a swap to join in Ravelry for months. For some reason, I JUST kept missing the deadline. Finally, after (literally) months of searching, I found one that I thought sounded interesting and was open for enrollment. My desire to join a swap was threefold:

1. Meet new people and make new friends.
2. Enjoy the search for items and putting together a package.
3. Receiving a swap package from another fiber fanatic.

I was thrilled when I was assigned my swap partner. It has been fun to get to know Julie and to see what the others in the swap enjoy knitting/spinning/etc. Here is the package that I put together for Julie:

Her favorite color is blue and she likes to knit hats and socks and with anything soft.

I was so proud of myself that I made it little pretty.

I felt a little (just a tiny bit) like Tonia! If only I could grow up to be like T!

I will be joining another swap for sure. Lots of fun to share in the joy of the fiber arts with those across the country and around the world!
