You can wear it around your neck or pull it up like a hood.
I have a small head, so I made mine tighter with an adjusted hook size.
(Makes for shopping for glasses not fun. A lot of the time, I end up shopping in the kids section!)
Pattern: Convertible Crochet Cowl
Hook: Pattern reommends N, I used M
Yarn: 220 of a bulky or 440 of a worsted
I used two strands of Tahki Alpaca Tweed.
My favorite thing about this garment is that it doesn't fall off like a scarf does, it covers my ears to keep those warm and toasty, and I can push the sides back while I'm driving to be able to see (unlike my hats). A great little holiday project for you crocheters out there. Don't feel advanced enough to do all the different stitches? You could do every row as double crochet for a simpler pattern.
