Viv's Mittens

As mentioned in an earlier post, I made the Big Girl Bonnet for Viv. Here are the mittens to go with the hat. She is going to be one styling preschooler! If you are looking for a great mitten patterns for kids, this is a great one. I knitted them up in about 3 hours total. I also connected them with a crochet chain so that a mitten doesn't go missing.

Pattern: Basic Pattern for Children's Mittens
from Afghans for Afghans (free in Ravelry)
Yarn: 1 partial skein of Berroco Vintage Wool
Color: Sunny
Needles: US 6 DPNs
Mods: Added a crochet chain between the two (not pictures here)

Never made mittens, but want to learn how to make them for your little ones? Sign up for the Anything Baby/Toddler class this winter. You'll master the techniques and make tons of mittens.
